Switzerland meets Brazil

A Suiça encontra o Brasil

From the end of the 1970s, the Montreux Jazz Festival was a gateway for Europe to the Música Popular Brasileira (MPB). Year after year, the Tropical Nights made headlines even in the Parisian press.

In 2016, for the 50th edition of the Montreux Jazz Festival, a one-day open-air exhibition of the festival cover posters alongside my photo portraits was organized by Presence Switzerland in Circo Voador, a famous concert hall in Rio de Janeiro. It was brought to life by live concerts of the Brazilian band Nação Zumbi and the Swiss band The Young Gods.
